Macco Motors XS400

Custom bike shop Macco Motors impressed us with their Honda Spitfire 09, and left us wanting more. Thankfully, it didn’t take long before they rolled out another one.

One of their latest, named the Dark Bullet, was built from a 38 horsepower 1978 Yamaha XS400, and features a new front axle, new 19 inch SR250 wheels on the front with Metzeler Lasertec tires, shorty pipes, and a retuned engine outfitted with K&N air filters. The electric starting system was ditched and replaced with an old fashioned kick starter—the way starting a bike was meant to be. Learn more about the build at Macco Motors.
