Mitsubishi Mi-Tech Concept Buggy

With Mitsubishi’s dedication to electrification technology, they have recently unveiled the Mitsubishi Mi-Tech Concept Buggy. This Concept Buggy was designed as a “small plug-in hybrid electric SUV that delivers an unparalleled driving pleasure and confidence over all terrain in light and wind.”

The Mi-Tech Buggy utilizes a lightweight, compact new PHEV drivetrain with a four-motor electric 4WD system. The Buggy features advanced driver assist and preventive safety technology to keep you on the road.

Mitsubishi Motors Corporation’s signature Dynamic Shield design presents itself boldly on the front end of the Mi-Tech Concept Buggy. The center of the grille features a satin plated color with a touch of copper to accent the electrified Buggy. On the lower bumper, an aluminum skid plate protects the body.

On the sides of the vehicle, highly-raised overfenders and large tires present a powerful yet mobile SUV that appears ready to grip any terrain imaginable.

Inside the vehicle, the horizontal instrument panel is simple and easy to operate. The front windshield displays all relevant information such as car behavior, terrain recognition and route guidance.

A lightweight, compact gas turbine engine-generator powers the PHEV drivetrain. This gas turbine offers the flexibility to run on multiple fuels such as diesel, kerosene and alcohol. An electric 4WD system delivers a safe yet exhilarating driving experience, allowing the driver to feel control in all driving conditions.

The Concept Buggy looks a bit like one of those motorized cars that a neighbor kid would drive around in, but this one actually fits adults and is very stylish. Hopefully soon Mitsubishi will allow the public to have just as much fun with the Mitsubishi Mi-Tech Concept Buggy.
