Momentum Watches Sea Auto 30 Dive Watch

Published By

Before there was a Momentum Watches brand, there existed the Chronosport brand, known for the Sea Quartz 30 dive watch launched in 1977. The watch grew a cult-like following in the 1980s when it found a home on the Wrist of Tom Selleck in the first three seasons of the hit show Magnum, P.I.

Momentum Watches has recreated the iconic Sea Quartz 30, with a few upgrades, of course. The bezel, dial, and hands now feature C3 Super-Luminova for even better visibility in low-light conditions, while the mineral bezel and crystal has been replaced with a scratch-proof sapphire for improved durability. Momentum also ditched the quartz movement for this model, and opted for a Miyota 9015 automatic movement with a 42-hour power reserve. What remains is the watch’s iconic design from 47 years ago. More interested in the quartz version? That model can also be had for under $300.
