New Belgium Voodoo Ranger Agent 77 Hazy IPA

Published By

Five years ago, the Colorado and North Carolina based New Belgium Brewing Company embarked on a new adventure, not knowing that it would become their most popular beer to date.

The Voodoo Ranger series started small, with just the namesake Voodoo Ranger IPA and its stronger, hoppier Imperial IPA brother. And even though the two beers were markedly different, they laid the template for every Voodoo Ranger to follow: Deceptively smooth and easy drinking, yet loaded with complex hop bitterness and aromas.

Now in its fifth year and with over 20 unique styles to its name, the Voodoo Ranger series welcomes its newest member. Agent 77 is the latest iteration of the wildly popular hazy IPA style, with generous doses of Nelson Sauvin and Galaxy hops that give it an intensely floral and white grape heavy aroma. And at 7.7 percent alcohol, it’s as deadly as its secret agent namesake.
