Nikon’s all new D7100, built with the professional photographer in mind, takes the SLR technology to a new level by utilizing a 24.1-megapixel DX-format CMOS sensor that produces high resolution images with a clarity that is expected from their D series cameras. Because of the high resolution technology the D7100 utilizes, the optical low pass filter was tossed aside, allowing the camera to fully use every available megapixel, resulting in much more detailed images.
Other features include Nikon’s 51-point AF system, wireless connectivity, and a wide ISO range of 100-6400, all powered by Nikon’s EXPEED 3 image processing engine.
