Orum House

Looking for a screaming deal on a quick getaway? This is not it. But if you’d like views spanning from the Pacific Ocean to Downtown LA, two chef’s kitchens, a gym, hot tub, pool, and some of the most deluxe modern décor and architecture you’ve ever seen… Start picking out your dates.

The Orum House is offered through AirBnb Luxe, a category the short-term rental site added back in 2017 when they acquired Montreal-based Luxury Retreats. Through the Luxe division, you can rent European castles, entire tropical islands, and this 18,000 square foot, architect-designed home overlooking the City of Angels. In nine bedrooms, each with their own private bathroom, the home can sleep sixteen people.

Dine and drink well courtesy of the formal dining space and wine cellar. Watch some classic LA Noir movies projected on-screen in the home theater. Then take care of some me-time with the sauna, gym, and multiple fire pits. The master suite has its own fireplace and balcony. The pool is heated. Many of the floor-to-ceiling windows open with the push of a button to let in the golden California light and that perfectly calibrated coastal air. And there’s parking for 30 in the driveway.

A stay will run you $18,000 per night, but when your vacation rental is so deluxe it makes the Great Gatsby’s place seem a little quaint, it might just be worth it.
