Perrin Brewing S’more Stout

When rough winter storms start to roll through our neck of the woods, that’s when we find ourselves adjusting our home bar cart and beer fridge accordingly. Colder weather calls for cocktails and beers with some heft, a bit more bite and some serious bang for your buck — and if you can find all of that in a rich craft beer made right near the place they call “Beer City U.S.A.,” then that’s all the better.

In this instance, Perrin Brewing, out of Comstock Park a mere stone’s throw from national brewery hub Grand Rapids, has just what we need. We’re talking, of course, about the Perrin Brewing S’more Stout, a special beer that calls to mind that age-old pastime of toasting marshmallows for S’mores around a crackling campfire.

It’s the right sort of rich and flavorful beer for fall and winter weather that refuses to go away. Part of the brewery’s Side Hustle Series, it’s jam-packed with “flavors of marshmallows, graham crackers and chocolate” in every sip. To us, that sounds like the perfect beer for fall and winter.
