This newly-released book by Jon Chad traces the roots of pinball from the court of King Louis XIV, through the 20th century post-war boom, and all the way to the present day, peppering the timeline with plenty of other interesting tidbits including the game’s cultural significance and physics involved with the iconic game that the world has all but forgotten.
