Porsche continues to light it up by making impressive waves in the EV world. The Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo is infusing 1.21 gigawatts into the electric vehicle experience by adding the capability to venture off course.

As their first all-electric sports car model, the Taycan is like a bolt of lightning in the EV market for performance driving enthusiasts. Now, Porsche is taking the high-performance Taycan EV off-road with the Cross Turismo.

The Cross Turismo features precision Porsche engineering including an innovative electric drive system. Porsche builds it on their 800-volt architecture chassis. Cross Turismo models feature all-wheel drive with an adaptive air suspension system for optimal off-road performance.

An optional off-road package adds 30 mm, or slightly over an inch of additional ground clearance if you think things will get rocky. There is even a “Gravel Mode” setting which improves performance on rough roads with loose terrain or dirt.

For those who love to explore nature outside of their EV, Porsche is also introducing two new e-bikes with the Cross Turismo. Both the eBike Sport and the eBike Cross feature sustainable drive technology. A special rear eBike carrier is also available for the Cross Turismo from Porsche.

Cross Turismo models are a little more spacious than other Taycan models, offering rear passengers additional headroom. The Cross Turismo also features more load capacity, accessible through the convenient rear tailgate.

There are four different configurations of the Taycan Cross Turismo available right out of the gate. They are the Taycan 4 Cross Turismo, the Taycan 4S Cross Turismo, the Taycan Turbo Cross Turismo, or the Taycan Turbo S Cross Turismo models.

High-performance gearheads will have their eye on the Turbo S because it can rip from 0 to 62 miles per hour in only 2.9 seconds. It has a top speed of 155 miles per hour. From the salt flats to dirt tracks, the off-road capability of the Cross Turismo is going to appeal to a lot of wild imaginations.

Standard base models can still go from 0 to 62 mph in 5.1 seconds while the 4S can do it in 4.1 seconds. As for the standard Turbo Cross Turismo, it can reach 62 in 3.3 seconds. They are all quick with some of them being fast, but they will all be fun to drive.

Porsche is making the transition to sustainable mobility an easy decision for both on-road and off-road performance enthusiasts with the Taycan. With a CO2 emissions combined rating of 0 g/km, the Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo is ready to show you the wilderness without leaving a carbon footprint behind it.
