Throw on your Members Only jacket, put the latest Peter Gabriel album in your Walkman, and take a step back in time with me to the 1980s—where anyone who was anyone knew that you had to have a pair of Reeboks to fit in with the cool kids.
To say that a lot has changed since then is a wild understatement. But with the limited edition release of Reebok’s Victory G Shoes as part of their Reebok Reserve line, you can get a feel for what the world was like (without also having to endure the indignities of mullets and people smoking indoors at Pizza Hut).
These shoes are a take-for-take remake of the original 1982 design specifications, with a thick heel wedge and plush suede heel cradle. The only real update is hidden within the shoe, with a Gore-Tex lining providing a heavy degree of waterproofing and breathability.
