Ford’s Raptor, like all good things, must go quietly into the night at some point. Whether or not it will make a return is uncertain. In it’s absence, enjoy the prospect of the Shelby Baja 700 ($45,000). Thanks to a 700 horsepower engine with a Whipple supercharger system, the Baja 700 is a much more powerful beast with which to tackle unforgiving terrain. A competition designed suspension system and BF Goodrich off-road tires on 18 inch wheels don’t hurt either. Limited to only 50 units.
