Snake Handler Double IPA

IPAs are divisive. They offer a quick way to start a fight, or at least a spirited argument. If you’re looking to convert a critic, don’t look here: Snake Handler is not the IPA to share with beginners. In fact, it’s a Double IPA, and that’s 50% of the reason you should keep it away from macro drinkers. Good People Brewing Co. didn’t make the Snake Handler for them, they made it for beer enthusiasts who already own a snifter, know when to use it, and know when to pour straight.

The 10% ABV West Coast-style IPA is for those who appreciate a hoppy mix of grassy pine, spice and citrus, pineapples and flowers; who don’t grimace at the malty hits of caramel and biscuit, and know bitter isn’t a bad word. It’s not for the guy who chugs a Corona (WITH LIME) to wash down his well done steak. Snake Handler is full bodied and warm yet finishes crisp and dry, and it’s Good People’s most requested beer. It is, to put it plainly, a damn good Double IPA for those who want a damn good Double IPA, and it has no business touching the lips of those who don’t. Find it here.
