Sony RX0 II

No matter how good the camera on your smartphone gets, it physically can’t get as good as a (quality) standalone camera. It’s just a size issue. To keep a phone light and portable, the sensor and lens must be commensurately small. That said, the reason so many of us rely on our phone for taking pictures is it’s always with us. Sony’s new RX0 II camera is designed to be small enough that you’ll bring it with you everywhere, but it’s packed with details and features that put image quality front and center.

The giant 1.0-type sensor is many times larger than even the big smartphones and the 24mm wide angle lens is made by ZEISS. All of this is housed in a waterproof, uncrushable aluminum-copper alloy case that weighs under four and half ounces. The LCD screen tilts up so you can frame up selfies and tilts down so you can get high angle shots. Video capture is covered too, with internal 4K recording.

Smaller than two by three inches, it’ll go in your pocket or pack without taking up too much space. And it’ll always be there when image quality matters. – Shop Now
