Timex Deepwater Reef 200 Titanium Automatic

According to a quick search on Google, most scuba diving takes place at 50 meters or less, which begs the question: Why do most decent dive watches cost a small fortune? (We’re looking at you Rolex and Tudor.) It’s true, you usually get what you pay for. But what if there existed an automatic dive watch engineered to go a bit deeper, built from titanium, and cost less than $500? We were skeptical when we first got wind of the new Timex Deepwater Reef 200 Titanium Automatic watch, but the specs check out, and it’s garnering a lot of positive feedback.

The watch sits at a mid-sized 41mm, large enough to see under water, yet not large enough to look out of place when you’re desk diving at the office, and is powered by a Miyota 8215 automatic movement. The case is built from grade 2 titanium so it’ll feel much lighter than your Tudor Black Bay Fifty-Eight but will go just as deep, in this case, 200 meters.

A date window with a Rolex-like magnifier makes a quick glance for the date a breeze, while Super-Luminova on the hands, bezel, and hour markers make keeping track of your time a cinch while you explore just beyond where the sunlight hits. Grab yours now while supplies last.
