Once designed for pilots and travel junkies, the GMT has stood the test of time (literally), ruling the watch circuit since its inception in the early 1950s.
The Q GMT from Timex is an upgraded version of their original diver-inspired Q, first released in 1979, and features some of the same quintessential characteristics as the original including a black dial, rotating bezel, stainless steel bracelet, coin-operated battery hatch on the case back, and domed acrylic crystal. The brand has updated the revival with newly constructed bracelet links which now appear solid and curved, plus, it’s available with a Rolex GMT-inspired red and blue Pepsi bezel.
