Toyota Hilux Invincible X Truck

In North America, Toyota sells the Tacoma, but overseas, Toyota offers the Hilux. Since its introduction in 1968, the Toyota Hilux has developed a reputation for being reliable and tough. The Toyota Hilux Invincible-X Truck is no different. For 2020, the Hilux features a sharper design along with better on road and off-road performance.

The Invincible-X Truck will be available in three different body types: Single Cab, Extra Cab and Double Cab. They each have a one-ton payload with a 3.5 ton tow capacity.

Featuring bespoke designs and a re-designed grille, styling of the Hilux has changed quite a bit for 2020. The interior is new and improved, featuring an 8-inch multimedia screen mounted on the center console and much more. Push button start, satellite navigation, parking sensors and a premium JBL sound system are all available with the Toyota Hilux Invincible X Truck.

Also new for 2020 is a 2.8 liter turbodiesel engine producing 201 horsepower. This powerful engine is capable of generating 369 lbs-ft of torque. All models feature all-wheel drive and will shift via six-speed manual or automatic transmission.

The Hilux is one of a select number of vehicles still featuring a body-on-frame construction. This design helps the Hilux take on the most extreme off-road driving conditions. In 2019, the Hilux won the Dakar Rally, which is one of the world’s toughest off-road events. Since then, the Hilux Invincible-X Truck has seen improvements to the suspension and power steering. Many of these off-road performance enhancements improve vehicle stability, control and much more.

Unfortunately, the Invincible-X Truck is not available to the public just yet. You can learn more about the Toyota Hilux Invincible-X Truck by visiting their website. Stay tuned for further details on model specifications and price points as the November 2020 launch date approaches.
