Triumph x Icon Dromedarii Motorcycle

Published By

When you’re building a bike suited for the rugged wasteland of an apocalypse — such as Icon 1000’s Dromedarii motorcycle — some stripping, bolting, cutting, and welding are more than likely in order no matter the make of said bike. For this project, Icon collaborated with Triumph Motorcycles, using a Triumph Tiger 800XC as the blank canvas.

After shredding any and all plastic from the stock motorcycle, the crew went to work on molding the bike into a rugged, off-road machine fit for survival. Steel cages and plates were added where the plastic once sat, protecting the Dromedarii’s engine components. The suspension was upgraded to Ohlins, while the subframe was raised to improve off-road ground clearance. A custom oversized fuel tank and integrated auxiliary Rotopax fuel cells improve the bike’s range of operation and operation of the integrated PIAA HID lighting.
