Tudor’s Pelagos FXD was a revival of a historical collaboration and built for true-blue diving in the middle of the ocean. The FXD is based on the 1956 references 7922 and 7923, which were deemed so perfect by the Marine Nationale’s scientific body, that Tudor became the French Navy’s official timepiece supplier.

Tudor has expanded the FXD lineup in 2024 with the new FXD GMT watch, which also meets the needs of the French Naval Aviation thanks to a GMT movement that can keep track of up to three different time zones, including Zulu time. Its titanium case is stronger but lighter than stainless steel. Meanwhile, the rotating bezel is satisfyingly crisp, and the high-performance lume boasts that grade A Swiss Super-Luminova blue emission that’s become a borderline status symbol.
