Tudor Pelagos FXD

A revival of a historical collaboration, the Tudor Pelagos FXD is built for true-blue divers. The FXD is based on the 1956 references 7922 and 7923. They were deemed so perfect by the Marine Nationale’s scientific body, that Tudor became the French Navy’s official supplier. Its titanium case is stronger but lighter than stainless steel. Meanwhile, the rotating bezel is satisfyingly crisp, and the high-performance lume boasts that blueish Rolex-Tudor Chromalight that’s become a borderline status symbol.

This Pelagos is equipped with the FXD strap bars, which are separate steel tubes driven into the lug holes, providing a virtually unbreakable strap attachment. This, like all of this watch’s many functions, give it robustness and a vintage military charm. Of course, the dial is adorned with Tudor’s iconic Snowflake hands. The Pelagos FXD is as much a piece of EDC gear as it is a classy timepiece.
