Velocity Restorations Beach Edition Bronco

Is the 2020 Ford Bronco available yet? No it is not. (Late 2020 projected release.) To slake your thirst for a boxy, retro four-by until the new generation arrives, Velocity Restorations out of Pensacola, Florida has a few very cool ideas. Their main stock-in-trade is high-end restorations of classic Ford Broncos and this Beach Edition caught our eye — as it would anyone’s, with its custom bumpers, roll cage, and smooth, (period correct) blue exterior.

They’re building them to order now, using 1966 to 1977 Broncos as the base and dropping in a Ford Coyote five liter engine tied to Ford’s 4R70 four-speed automatic transmission. Other modern touches include Bluetooth audio, a digital gauge cluster, power steering, power disc brakes, and power side steps.

A custom bikini top will stretch over the powder coated roll cage if the sun gets too much (despite the new A/C) and the whole thing rides on your choice of 33 or 35 inch tires.
