Venier Customs Moto Guzzi Tractor 05

To review: A scrambler should look stripped down yet ready to go anywhere. The tires should be knobby, the exhaust pipes high and the frills should be nil. Here’s a custom build that got it just about perfect. Tractor 05 is based on a Moto Guzzi V7, perfect for the scrambler treatment with that horizontal line running from headlamp to taillight. Wisely, the New York by-way-of-Italy bike shop Venier Customs didn’t get overly clever with the build and instead chose to keep the frame standard. It’s a skilled redesign, not just a chop and weld.

The body is all custom, handmade aluminum: new front and rear fenders, an elongated reshaped tank, and redesigned side panels. The knobby tires are Continental TKC80s and the requisite dual rear shocks are from Ikon. For the paint job, Venier went with an understated grey with a subtle shine making a bike that looks every bit a scrambler, and every bit a beautiful design. Learn more at Venier Customs.
