Originally featuring the 2.2 E engine from Porsche, it raced in the late 70s with a 2.3L engine. Many engine modifications on the rebuild brought the car up to full race standards. High compression pistons, 906 cams, and twin ignition upgrades highlight the engine modifications. 

Other racing upgrades include a fully restored and strengthened bodyshell, as well as a welded FIA 6-point roll cage. An original French FIA passport authenticates its racing history. This 911 is currently modified to Group 4 specs in full compliance with FIA Appendix K. 

The exterior of the 911 still features the original light yellow shade. There are front and rear metal flares styled after those found on the 2.3L 911 ST. Finally, fiberglass bumpers, bonnet and engine lids provide the finishing touches.
