To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the iconic movie “Bullitt” — which starred Steve McQueen — Ford is releasing the limited edition Mustang Bullitt this summer to pay tribute to the film’s 1968 Ford Mustang GT 390 McQueen raced through a parking structure and the city streets of San Francisco.
The new limited-edition Mustang Bullitt will feature a 475 horsepower, 5.0-liter V8 engine that hits a tip speed of 163 MPH, along with a Dark Highland green exterior, subtle chrome accents, an active valve performance exhaust sutem with Black NitroPlate exhaust tips, a new Open Air Induction System, and a Shelby GT350 intake manifold with 87mm throttle bodies and powertrain control module calibration for superior performance on the street.
