2021 Rogue Pumpkin Patch Ale

Published By

We’re closing in on the end of August, and you know what that means—it’s almost decorative gourd season. And what better way to welcome the fall than with the triumphant 2021 return of Portland-based Rogue Brewery’s legendary Pumpkin Patch Ale? If you can’t go out picking at a pumpkin patch, this beer is the next best thing.

This isn’t your typical “pumpkin spice BS” flavoring added to an amber ale, either. Every batch of Rogue’s Pumpkin Patch Ale is made with pounds and pounds of real pumpkins from a nearby farm in Independence, Oregon. Those pumpkins are heavily roasted to bring out their natural caramelized flavors, creating a perfect base for a restrained addition of spices to this heady brew.
