Every adventure brings opportunities to meet new faces in interesting places. The completely redesigned 2022 Toyota Tundra brings a familiar go-anywhere attitude along for the journey. It is bigger, badder, and looks hungry to hit the trails running.

Upon first glance, the front end looks aggressive with sleek styling. There are full LED headlights that cut through the night sky like a sharp knife.

To keep up with modern regulations, the 2022 Tundra half-ton pickup features three amber lights in the front grille design. Is it a crime that it looks badass at night? Absolutely not.

Although there is not a lot of public information available regarding the performance specifics of the all-new Tundra, there is a lot of industry buzz regarding what Toyota will do with its popular pickup truck.

Could it have a powerful twin-turbo V6 engine under the hood? Maybe. Perhaps it will even have over 400 horsepower, which would be an improvement over the previous generation Tundra’s 381 hp V8 engine.

There is no word if there will be a hybrid or EV pickup truck option on the horizon for the Tundra lineup, but knowing Toyota, they are already thinking about it. Toyota labels the 2022 Tundra as a “body-on-frame beast”, from the looks of it, it could eat up any off-road challenge in its way.

Many enthusiasts anticipate a completely reengineered rear suspension system, this will likely balance ride comfort with uncompromising performance. Toyota loads all their new vehicles with tons of advanced driving tech features, there is no reason why you should not expect the same for the Tundra.

The 2022 Toyota Tundra is going to hit the streets soon. Toyota plans to release new details about the Tundra as they become available. Until then, you can sign up for updates from Toyota. That way you can have plenty of time to decide which color you would like to get on your new truck.
