GMC is quietly becoming an EV leader in the truck industry. In fact, GMC is the first brand in the entire automotive industry to offer three all-electric trucks. The 2024 GMC Sierra EV is on its way to joining the GMC Hummer EV truck and SUV in the lineup. And with this being a Denali edition, you will get the premium GMC experience you expect.
With an estimated 400 miles of range, the GMC Sierra Denali EV is perfect for everything from a weekend getaway to going on epic road trips. The Sierra EV is built on the same Ultium platform as the Hummer making it a very versatile and capable EV truck. GM estimates they will ship the 2024 Sierra EV with 754 horsepower and 785 pound-feet of torque.
You will even be able to use the Sierra EV as a mobile power source thanks to the Onboard Power Station Pro feature. This provides you with up to 10.2kW of off-board power, that’s more than enough juice for you to run a DJ table anywhere you go. When you need to recharge the truck, the 800-volt DC Public Fast Charging can give you 100 miles of range in only 10 minutes.
Other highlights include a 16.8-inch infotainment touchscreen and trailering-capable Super Cruise. Super Cruise is a hands-free drive assistance technology that works with over 400,000 miles of compatible roads in the United States and Canada.
If you want to tap into more performance in the Sierra EV, simply activate Max Power mode. This will enable your Sierra EV to go from zero to 60 miles per hour in only 4.5 seconds. The Air Ride Adaptive Suspension allows you to raise or lower the ride height by up to two inches.
Oh and you know that whole crabwalking thing the Hummer EV can do? Well, GMC is making that feature available with the Sierra EV as well. From being able to tow up to 9,500 pounds to crabwalking, the 2024 GMC Sierra EV is coming right around the corner. Don’t be surprised when you see it gliding sideways in a parking lot near you.
