Adidas POD-S3.1 Shoes

Jurassic World is on the big screen, Fargo’s on the small. Fanny packs and flannel shirts are back in force. If anyone ever says they miss the 90s, they need but look around them. And here’s one more way to scratch the nostalgia itch: the adidas POD-S3.1. Back in 1989 adidas introduced the Torsion System, a three part outsole that gave more flex when you wore it and had that iconic notch from the midfoot bridge. POD is the current interpretation of that design — with all new materials and tech.

The heel gets energy return thanks to lightweight BOOST cushioning. The Point of Deflection bridge at mid foot is made from TPU and gives POD its name, while the forefoot sole is high-rebound EVA. The knit uppers are snug and supportive with suede and TPU details. Plus, of course, there are those three iconic adidas stripes — it just wouldn’t feel like the 90s without them. – Shop Now
