Alba Optics Delta Ultra Sunglasses

Italian eyewear brand Alba Optics set out to recreate the Italian-made performance glasses you’d see on pro cyclists in the ‘80s. The Delta was their first model. Since then, they’ve moved on to create other high-performance shades, all with retro good looks and quality, handmade Italian manufacturing, but they’ve never let go of their first iconic, ride-focused Delta. 

The Delta Ultra is the latest improvement to the model with a ten percent smaller lens made from unbreakable polycarbonate with UV400 protection and a treatment that enhances contrast in bright conditions. Insanely lightweight, the sunglasses weigh in at just 29 grams (just a shade over an ounce) and are shaped to stay put when you drop your eyes to your pedals. When you’re head up, they offer a clear, panoramic view of the road ahead, be it your own city streets or the backroads of Tuscany.
