Bowlus Road Chief Endless Highways Travel Trailer

Most people think of one brand when they think of a rounded, polished aluminum travel trailer, but Bowlus Road Chief would like you to know that Airstream got the idea from them. Back in the 1930s, aircraft engineer Hawley Bowlus designed the first travel trailer ever. While production of Bowlus’s trailers ended a few years after it began, the re-launched Bowlus Road Chief is once again building sleek, silvery trailers — this time with a focus on genuine luxury.

The Bowlus Road Chief Endless Highways travel trailer is the larger of the brand’s two offerings — and every detail exudes thoughtful swankiness. With sleeping and dining capacities for four people, the 26-foot long trailer features a bedroom, restroom, shower room, and main cabin, all of which can be closed off to create separate spaces. The bedroom comes with two twin beds that can be optionally converted to a king. The couches mid-ship offer dining space and convert to two additional twins.

Real wood floors (heated), a stainless steel galley complete with fridge, stove and microwave, and a cell booster with private wifi all work to make a stay in the Endless Highway something a bit removed from roughing it. Take your trip off-grid with a full week’s worth of power coming from the lithium-iron-phosphate batteries, while ample storage throughout the trailer make sure you have all you need.
