Breckenridge 471 Small Batch IPA

Published By

Breckenridge takes a bold approach befitting of a brewery surrounded by the great outdoors and the potential for rustic adventure — that is to say, the Breckenridge 471 Small Batch IPA is about as bold as it gets on the IPA front.

We think you’ll certainly enjoy the fruits of this tasty, rich double IPA, made the right way (careful and slow, packed with four different types of hops, including Chinook and Centennial). It’s a powerful IPA for when you want to savor something hop-filled and distinct — the brewery notes it has a big mouthfeel, not to mention the use of everything from Munich to Pale malts.

It packs a whopping ABV of 9.2 percent, on top of an IBU rating of 70. Again, Breckenridge says this beer isn’t for the faint of heart, and we’d tend to agree. It’ll only be around for a short period of time, so we’d recommend getting your hands on it whenever and wherever possible — and then savoring it all along the way.
