Breckenridge Breck Lager

Published By

While plenty of brewers are focused on crafting the best IPAs — a style that we also love — it seems it’s somewhat harder to find breweries that are as focused on crafting the simple, straightforward and flavorful lager. Suarez Family Brewing in upstate New York is one such brewery, and now, with its Breck Lager, Breckenridge is another.

Clocking in at an easy-to-sip 4.5 percent ABV, the Breckenridge Breck Lager is a nice beer to have handy when you fancy something lighter to drink for hours on end — namely, late summer or early fall. Yet, the Breck Lager is also a nice change of pace in the winter months, what with its light and bright flavor plus unique can design.

The brewery says it features the color of sunflowers and again, that pleasingly light flavor. For when you fancy a change of pace from rich stouts or even an Old Fashioned, go with the Breck Lager — you won’t be disappointed.
