Breitling Navitimer Boeing 747 Chronograph

Published By

Naturally, the masters of pilot watches over at Breitling are honoring the Boeing 747’s final flight. This special edition Navitimer Chronograph, limited to, yes, 747 pieces, celebrates the revolutionary long-range airliner’s contribution to aviation. It sports the same palette that the original 1969 plane did, that is an impeccable cream dial and a red inner slide rule, that’s striking yet refined. The subtle blue accents and black subdials temper the spotlit crimson hue.

As a B01 is, it’s built to competent spec, with its classic sciencey-cool look and COSC-certified column-wheel-clad caliber. And of course, you can admire this movement, and its vertical clutch, at work through the caseback, this time engraved with an edition number and the phrase “The Original Jumbo Jet.”
