It seems like we’re continually craning our necks to see what BrewDog is up to across the pond as far as craft beer innovations are concerned, from the brewery’s renewed focus on sustainability to, well, the beer itself. The Lightspeed Hazy IPA is just the latest BrewDog beer we positively can’t wait to try. Consider it a refreshing change of pace from incredibly hopped-up IPAs, the kind that’ll cause you to throw in the towel if you have too many.
Lightspeed Hazy IPA clocks in at a very agreeable four percent ABV, drinking like a pale ale for hours-long imbibing sessions. Centennial and Citra hops, among others, work to add a serious punch of citrus aroma and flavor, working with Cascade and Nelson Sauvin hops to bring it all home with light floral notes. As BrewDog says, this is “fast beer for a slow universe,” so why not take the time to enjoy it in front of a roaring fire this season?
