Camp Adventure Park Forest Tower, Denmark

An hour south of Copenhagen, you can get a new perspective on trees. As in, you can look down on them from 145 feet in the air. It’s the newest feature at Camp Adventure Park, a sort of Danish outdoor dreamland with glamping yurts, a zipline/climbing park, bonfires, food stalls, and the largest pick-your-own flower field in Northern Europe.

Camp Adventure Park Forest Tower, Denmark

The Park Forest Tower was designed by effekt architecture in Copenhagen and is built from massive corten steel tubes. Chances are, this structure will still stand when we’re out there orbiting Kepler-16b checking for signs of life.

With its hourglass shape and geometric lines, the Tower creates a striking effect as you move closer to it along the connected boardwalk that meanders through the forest. Turning through twelve orbits around the center takes you to the top, far above the trees. So high in fact, on a clear day, you can see all the way to Copenhagen, 31 miles away.
