Farer Segrave III Monopusher Chronograph GMT Watch

Farer is a watch microbrand that loves to tell stories with their timepieces, especially adventure stories. They update popular designs from the ‘60s with Swiss movements and modern materials, and name their models after British explorers and the vehicles they once used in their adventures.

The Segrave III Chronograph GMT seen here, for example, is named after Henry Segrave, a British automobile and motorboat racer born in 1896. Segrave set three land and one water record, was the first person to hold both titles at the same time, and the first person to travel at over 200 mph in a land vehicle.

Farer Monopusher Chronograph GMT Watch

What makes the Segrave III watch so versatile is that it functions as both a chronograph and a GMT, or a Monopusher GMT, if you will, made possible by the blending of two movements via the Swiss Elaboré Sellita SW536 M MP movement. While wearing it you can track a second time zone and also precisely time how long you’ve cooked your pasta on the stove.
