Flint and Tinder Denim Trucker

Published By

It takes guts (and skill) to re-interpret an American classic (and do it well). Flint & Tinder, as we already knew, is certainly possessed of guts — banking on the viability of an American-made clothing company in an era of fast, foreign and cheap. And they definitely have skill — easily seen in their 10-Year Hoodie and premium t-shirts. So when they decided to take on the iconic denim jacket, we were pretty sure the results would be first-rate.

And first rate it is. To start, the trucker jacket is cut, sewn and finished in Los Angeles. And the denim itself is stonewashed to be pliable and comfortable the first time you wear it. They added a little stretch too, for better fit and movement. The cut is slim, with a little added room in the shoulder and bicep so you can still move your arms. But all that’s about how it feels. How does it look? It looks a lot like your new favorite trucker jacket. – $168
