The James Beam Distilling Company brings you Hardin’s Creek, their newest line of rare and unique whiskies. Jacob’s Well Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey has been aged 184 months and is a blend of two ultra-aged expressions — a traditional bourbon mashbill and a high-rye bourbon — which offer notes of vanilla and caramel, and a smooth finish.
Inspired by post-Prohibition bourbon, Colonel James B. Beam Kentucky Straight is taken off the still at a low distillation proof and aged for just two years. The result is an incredibly robust and complex whiskey, with notes of vanilla and oak, a subtle nutty earthiness, and a distinctive caramel body.
