Jamesville Shovelhead Cafe Racer

Published By

James Roper-Caldbeck is the owner of Jamesville Motorcycles, a custom bike shop in Copenhagen that custom builds, restores, and repairs 1930’s-1980’s vintage Harley Davidson motorcycles like this 1971 FLH Shovelhead. One of his latest projects is the 1972 FX Super-Glide Shovelhead turned cafe racer shown above — a vastly different approach than his typical bobber approach.

The showroom-worthy machine was outfitted with a variety of custom parts, including a new seat pan and cowl with a Triumph taillight, Progressive shocks, and a custom exhaust system built by James himself that was inspired by Ducati sport bikes. Learn more about the build here.
