Drawing inspiration from a venomous spider, the Segestria Florentina, McLaren Special Operations (MSO) is proud to reveal their 600LT Spider Segestria Borealis. A unique vehicle of which only 12 total examples exist, the 600LT Spider features a striking design on a car with downright dangerous performance.
Twin Napier Green stripes string from the nose to the exhaust at the tail of the car, mimicking the green fangs of its venomous spider’s namesake. Continuing the theme of its venomous counterpart, the 600LT Spider features Borealis black MSO paint, showing iridescent qualities revealing deep green, purple and claret hues. The MSO team also added web-like designs on the rear wing and mirrors of the vehicle.
Gloss black 10-spoke lightweight forged wheels match well with the MSP Bespoke Napier Green brake calipers. Additional Napier Green pinstriping runs along the front fender, side skirts and rear diffuser vanes. Inside the vehicle, the cockpit features MSO Bespoke bright green stitching along with a web design featured on the headrest of the Alcantara racing seats.
Included with the Segestria Borealis package is the MSO Clubsport Pack. This includes super lightweight carbon fiber racing seats, a carbon fiber interior upgrade and MSO defined gloss visual carbon fiber front fender louvers. The three-piece retractable hardtop operates at speeds up to 25 miles per hour simply by pressing a button.
The McLaren 600LT Spider Segestria Borealis has a little venom of its own thanks to a twin turbo 3.8L V8 engine producing 592 bhp and 475 ft-lb of torque. This allows the Spider to go from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 2.8 seconds. Best of all, the McLaren features a forged aluminum double-wishbone suspension system, offering superb cornering capability in the 600LT.
