Oakley Re:SubZero

When they originally debuted in 1992, the Oakley Sub Zero’s were ahead of their time. Originally designed for the future, it seems the 90s just weren’t ready for the lightweight and innovative, avant-garde lenses and by 1995, production on the glasses had halted.

Well it seems that 30 years later, the future is now. The brand has brought back the iconic shades with virtually no changes to the design. Calling it a reinterpretation of the original, the lenses are now equipped with Prizm technology designed to fine tune vision and optimize contrast, and they’ve also added unobtainium nosepads which increase grip with perspiration. The sunnies also feature PhysioMorphic Geometry so they contour to the face. Weighing in at a mere 24 grams, they’re practically weightless, and available in three color options — ruby, sapphire and black.
