Is there anything that Outerknown can’t do? They’ve quickly become one of our favorite brands through a combination of sustainable and highly stylish design, not to mention gear that just works — and works hard, at that. The Offshore Rain Jacket is the latest piece we’re coveting from the brand, and it’s the kind that would do particularly well after an early morning surf session on choppy seas (fitting given legendary surfer Kelly Slater’s involvement with the brand).
The Offshore Rain Jacket delivers the goods, made from water-repellent, wind-resistant, DWR-coated fabric for maximum durability. It’s also finished with remarkable final touches, like heat-sealed seams and waterproof zippers. Despite all this, it’s got a surprisingly lightweight fit and easily packable nature.
The finishing touch? It’s made in part with recycled polyester derived from about 15 (former) plastic bottles — that’s utility and eco-conscious design we can get behind. – Shop Now
