What does 1,200 horsepower of Aston Martin elegance, customized to your preference, look like? Well, if you have an extra $2 million laying around, you can have a pair of R-Reforged Aston Martin Vantage V12 Zagato Heritage TWINS sitting in your garage.
Each set of TWINS will feature one 600 hp Speedster and one 600 hp Coupe, both inspired by the 2011 Vantage V12 Zagato models. A 5.9L V12 Aston Martin engine, tuned by R-Reforged, powers each one of the Heritage Vantage cars.
Externally, the R-Reforged TWINS are gorgeous, featuring what Zagato describes as retro-future, neo-classic styling. In their own words, they are paying the “ultimate tribute to the past by forging the future”.
R-Reforged promises each pairing of Vantage V12s will be unique. They feature precision craftsmanship with impeccable attention to detail for a flawless finish. In other words, these are premium level collectible cars capable of astonishing performance.
It is a reforging of the modern-classic Vantage V12, but it has plenty of new features. One of the most notable is the in-house developed active rear aerodynamic system. Other features include a titanium exhaust system and a 10 mm lower ride height for improved handling.
To truly appreciate the artisan crafted carbon fiber bodies of these cars, a closer look would be nice. Unfortunately, production is exclusive to 19 pairs of TWINS, with the first set going straight to Zagato. It may be a while before one of these is on display for public eyes. Until then, plenty of photos allow for a sneak peek.
In celebration of Italian coach builder Zagato’s 100th anniversary, R-Reforged is establishing themselves as a premium Swiss bespoke manufacturer with the R-Reforged Aston Martin Vantage V12 Zagato Heritage TWINS. The only question remaining is, who is going to bring the champagne to continue the celebration?
