Motorcycle movie law declares there’s two types of people in the world: those who think The Great Escape is the greatest motorcycle movie of all time, and those in the Easy Rider camp. For anyone who falls into the first category, there’s now a watch which is mandatory for their wrist.
The TTT Escape uses parts from the actual 1962 Triumph TR6 Trophy which can be seen between the thighs of Mr. Steve McQueen in his greatest performance that isn’t Bullit. Though this should be enough for any collector, the Escape is also a Swiss-made timepiece, employing SELLITA caliber SW200-1 movement that’s as dedicated to accurate measurement of the eroding power of time as McQueen was to throwing a baseball against a wall.
