Regular Beer

Published By

When we see a juicy, hazy DIPA dry-hopped with Simcoe and Chinook, we’re curious. A barrel aged barleywine can peak our interest. And we might be intrigued by a sour brown ale brewed with cherries. But sometimes all that noise and acrobatics gets to be too much and we just want, well, a beer

More breweries are understanding the simple, noble desire to drink something that tastes good and tastes like beer. DuClaw brewing out of Baltimore is one such brewery and their Regular Beer is simplicity defined, right down to the generic label on the can. It’s a straw yellow, American lager that even adds a bit of rice to the malt to give it that big beer lightness. But don’t mistake “regular” for bland, boring or cheaply made. DuClaw’s Regular Beer is still a well-made craft brew, it’s just one that keeps things basic. Perfect for when you don’t want anything fancy, you just want something good.
