Salt and Sea Session Sour Ale

Back in 1994, New Jersey passed a law that allowed for the creation of independent breweries. A homebrewer took them up on the idea and started Flying Fish Brewing Co. While it’s impressive to be a 25 year old craft brewery, it’s even more impressive that 25 years ago, Flying Fish got its start on the new fangled internet, creating a following online that morphed into a brick and mortar brewery in Cherry Hill.

Many years, awards, accolades, and a new location later, Flying Fish produces a winning lineup of brews, none so delicious as their Salt and Sea Session Sour Ale. Fruit aromas, a little salty sweetness, and a lovely, never overbearing sour smack combine for a truly refreshing beer that nearly demands the season be summer already. It’s ideal for beachside hammock sipping, or just enjoying in the backyard as you grill up another round of fish tacos.
