Snow Peak has teamed up with New Balance’s Tokyo Design Studio to create this mid-cut trail runner ideal for getting your jog on in challenging environments. It starts with a Gore-Tex lining designed to deliver breathable wetness protection, although if you want total dryness, there’s also a neoprene bootie.
The mid-cut design, which covers the ankle, stops rain and snow from infiltrating your shoe. The FIDLOCK cuff buckle helps to keep your footwear firmly in place, while the ABZORB compression and luged Vibram outsole offer comfort and stability on difficult terrain. Dual branded pull tabs make this shoe easy to pull on, and reflective accents help to keep you safe in low-visibility situations. At over $250, they already weren’t cheap, but for dedicated runners, they’re definitely worth the adjusted price tag currently on Ebay.
