Toyota continues its commitment towards carbon neutrality by 2050 with its all-new SUV electric vehicle concept. The Toyota bZ4X Electric SUV Concept is part of a large portfolio of battery-electric vehicles they will market under the “Toyota bZ” umbrella. For those wondering, bZ stands for beyond zero.
Developed under a joint partnership with Subaru, the goal is to combine the best of both worlds. Using Subaru’s extensive all-wheel-drive system expertise along with Toyota’s global reputation for durable reliability should yield good things.
With its long wheelbase, the bZ4X certainly has enough room to provide a comfortable interior experience for both drivers and passengers. In fact, the entire interior is purposefully designed to increase visibility, accessibility, and comfort.
Although there are not a lot of public details surrounding the mechanical specifications of the bZ4X Electric SUV yet, rest assured Toyota will perfect it when they choose to bring it into production for the 2022 model year. From the press release photos, this Toyota all-electric SUV promises good things in the future from the distinguished Japanese automaker.
What Toyota does say about their new SUV EV concept is that it will offer “class-leading efficiency and a very competitive driving range”. Considering how far ahead of the pack Toyota was with the Prius, it’s probably safe to trust their word on this project.
