Snake skin has typically been reserved for cowboy boots, handcrafted wallets, or pretty much any other honky-tonk accessory frequently worn during the early 1990’s. But Vans has respectfully brought it back into fashion, on a skateboarding shoe of all places, with the Vans Snake Era in a Brown/Black colorway.
The shoe is a combination of the Vans classic low top and snakeskin-style leather uppers, metal eyelets, a padded collar and heel counters for flexibility, and Van’s signature waffle outsole. Available now at Sneaker Politics or Vans. – $60
