DJI Air 2S Drone

Visual content creators or anyone who simply wants truly epic vacation videos, the DJI Air 2S has arrived. With a slew of upgraded hardware and programming that takes aerial imagery to another level (literally) this is going on every photographer’s want list.

To start, the image capture is extra impressive with a huge one-inch sensor capable of 20-megapixel still images and video in 5.4K (at 30 frames per second or in 4K at 60 fps). Low light capabilities, a billion-color 10-bit color profile, and HDR modes let you shoot brilliant images. And it’ll keep them safely stored in the on-board, 8-gig internal storage.

Because most photographers aren’t necessarily pilots, the Air 2S comes loaded with autonomous flight abilities, thanks to its four-way obstacle sensors. Pilot assistance systems use algorithms to actively avoid anything in the drone’s way and alert you when you’re heading towards trouble.

A charge will get you a half-hour of flight time and the drone can deliver a stable feed even if the drone is a few miles away. With all that hang time and range, the Air 2S gives you plenty of features to play with. Spotlight keeps the camera centered on your subject as you fly spirals around it. MasterShots is a sort of AI cinematographer, putting the drone into an automatic sequence to capture classic aerial angles and maneuvers, staying centered on your subject the whole time. Panorama, Hyperlapse, and 180-degree functions add even more creative shot possibilities.

If you’ve ever been unsatisfied with the pics snapped with your phone, send DJI a grand, and start capturing cinematic shots of your adventures. Ones that will easily dominate any Instagram feed.
