If you follow along (and drink along) with the craft beer world, perhaps you’re aware of a brewery to the north taking the world by storm (or at least, Minnesota) by storm. Summit Brewing is of the mind that taking one’s time to craft great beer (pun intended) can yield some stellar results — and even beer that’s simple and timeless, a true callback to the old ways of brewing beer. That manifests itself nicely with the Summit Brewing Dakota Soul, born of the adage that barley is the soul of beer (according to the brewery itself).
We enjoy that simple-but-precise focus, resulting in a Czech-style pils grown with barley from North Dakota. It’s a brand-new addition to the brewery’s lineup this year, and we couldn’t be more excited about it.
